The Chair edited a special issue entitled “Strategic management of Higher Education: Challenges and Opportunities” which has been published by “Revista de Educación”

“Revista de Educación”, official journal of the Spanish Ministry of Education has included in its number 355 a special issue on the topic of strategic management of higher education. This special issue was organized by the UNESCO Chair of Higher Education Management (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya).

Xavier Llinàs Audet, academic director of the Chair and Francesc Solé Parellada, Chair of the Business Organisation Department at the UPC were the invited editors of this special issue. The monograph explores relevant issues such as strategic management of universities, effectiveness of management tools, organization aspects, higher education institutions new strategic challenges and puzzles upon the university governance trends.
