Criteria of Excellence

TELESCOPI ESPAÑA, drawing upon The EFQM Excellence Model, covers the following Criteria of Excellence when identifying good practices proposals:

 

CRITERIA 1: LEADERSHIP

This criteria seeks to identify good practices which demonstrate how leaders visibly demonstrate their commitment to a culture of excellence, promote and facilitate the achievement of the institutional mission and vision. Furthermore, how do leaders develop the values ​​required to achieve long-term success, balance the needs of all stakeholders during the planning of current and future objectives, how they effectively manage the necessary changes and act as reference models creating a culture of compromise and responsibility.


CRITERIA 2: STRATEGY

This criteria seeks to identify practices which demonstrate how the institution embody its mission and vision through a clear strategy, focused on all its stakeholders. Additionally, how institutions develop and implement policies, plans, objectives, goals and relevant process when putting their strategy into practice.

 

CRITERIA 3: PEOPLE

This criteria seeks to identify practices which demonstrate how institutions develop and build performance indicators based on the needs and expectations of people, in order to determine the successful deployment of its strategy and supporting policies. Also how institutions create a culture that develops and values the potential of the people who integrates it, both individually as the institution as a whole, and how it gathers, analyzes and improves the commitment of people.

 

CRITERIA 4: PARTNERSHIPS AND RESOURCES

This criteria seeks to identify practices which demonstrate how institutions plan and manage its external and external partnerships, suppliers, internal resources and process based on information systems to assist in the implementation of the institutional overall strategy and its supporting policies, as well as the effective operation of its process.


CRITERIA 5. PROCESSES, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

This criteria seeks to identify practices which demonstrates how institutions design, manage, and enhance their processes, products and services, from strategic aligning them on the basis of data and facts, in order to obtain balanced and sustained results, and to generate increasing value for its customers and other stakeholders


CRITERIA 6.CLIENTS

This criteria seeks to identify good practices which demonstrates how institutions develop and agree upon a set of performance indicators, based on needs and expectations of its customers, to determine the successful implementation of its strategy and supporting policies, anticipating performance and future results.

 

CRITERIA 7. SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

This criteria seeks to identify good practices which demonstrates how institutions integrate the relevant external stakeholders,  demonstrating the systems developed to foster a culture of outreach, environmental management, corporate governance and the deployment of actions to promote a culture of quality. Thus determining the successful deployment of its social and environmental strategy and supporting policies.
