Evaluation Committee

The validation of the proposals of good practices is carried out by a committee comprised of experts in the field of university management and quality:

 

  • Carmen García de Elías: General Manager, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Barcelona, is EFQM accredited evaluator, and has a diploma in Strategic Management from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). She has been consultant of Programs of Accreditation, Certification and Institutional Assessment; Program Coordinator of Training of  Assessors and Auditors; Consultant in university relationships with ANECA (National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation); Coordinator of the Master in Quality Management in Higher Education of the Ortega y Gasset Foundation; Consultant of Strategic Planning and Quality in University in the UNESCO Chair of higher education Management (UPC), and has qulity in higher education in Spanish and international universities.

  • Jose Luis Martinez Rubio, Director of Quality Unit, Universidad Europea de Madrid.

PhD in Social Psychology of Organizations, by the National University of Distance Education (UNED), Masters in Human Resources by the School of Management and Senior Management (EADA). Accredited Professor by the Quality Agency and prospective analysis (ACAP) of the Community of Madrid, Professor in management skills and research techniques in undergraduate Bachelor and Masters Degree, Associate Professor at the National University of Distance Education in Psychology (undergraduate and postgraduate). He has extensive experience in the area of ​​university quality management; evaluator and validator in the EFQM Model in different Spanish universities. Member of various Committees for Quality Assessment (AUDIT, VERIFICA Masters and Doctorate mention of quality) and coordinator of international quality certifications: AACSB, ABET, ABA i EUA.

  • Pablo Arranz Val: Professor, Universidad de Burgos.

PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Quantitative Methods for Economics and Business at the University of Burgos. He has extensive experience in university management as Assistant to the School of Business and Director of the Quality Unit of the University of Burgos since its creation in 1996, and is member of several committees of the University. He is evaluator EFQM representative and member of evaluation committees in all external programs for Institutional Evaluation in Spain. He is collaborator of ANECA and  ACSUCYL and Andalusian Agency for Evaluation. Professor in the doctoral program in modern techniques for decision making: fundamentation and applications.
