Al-Akhawayn University (Morocco)
The CUDU participates in the follow up of Al-Akhawayn University's strategic plan
The UNESCO Chair of Higher Education Management has participated in the annual follow-up meeting of Al-Akhawayn University's strategic plan, in Ifrane (Morocco). The workshop included the review of core aspects such as indicators, targets, the balance scorecard software which provides follow-up data and, finally, the level of targets achieved.
The workshop counted on the active participation of Al-Akhawayn University's President, Dr. Dr. Driss Ouaouicha, as well as vicepresidents, directors of centers and services, and the school deans.
The partnership between CUDU and Al-Akhawayn University started in 2006 with the preparation of a project for the European Commission Tempus programe which was finally selected. The EDUQUEX project had a duration of 2 years and as main goals the creation of Al-Akhawayn's strategic plan 2010-2014 and the implementation of the EFQM model.
